With an innate understanding of the crucial role of corporate social responsibility in the development of local communities, and in celebration of the upcoming Holy month of Ramadan, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt) organized a staff visit to Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357. As done over the past years, a group of staff members volunteered to take part in a recreational day to spread joy among patients and their families, handing out gifts to little children and decorating the Hospital with Ramdan theme in celebration of the upcoming Holy month.
This visit comes as part of ABK-Egypt’s social and humanitarian role in providing moral support to patients undergoing treatment in the hospital and in continuation of the fruitful cooperation between the Bank and the Hospital over the last years. In addition, ABK-Egypt has consistently contributed to the enhancement of the medical service in the hospital through channeling financial contributions towards availing the medical equipment needed and supporting in the cost of treatment of children in their journey to recovery.
It is worth mentioning that ABK-Egypt’s Corporate Social Responsibility agenda aims at indorsing its role in the development of various sectors of society and in providing aid to underprivileged segments in various governorates. In Addition, the Bank is committed to supporting all endeavors led by the Egyptian Government towards economic development and is taking a lead in all initiatives launched by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to in support of health and education sectors, as they come on top of the country’s development agenda.
