MwaslaTech and Streamax Collaborate to Revolutionize Smart Taxi Solutions in Egypt

MwaslaTech, Egypt’s leading provider of smart mobility solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Streamax Middle East Technology, the global leader in AI-powered Commercial vehicle video surveillance and fleet management systems.

This collaboration, formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to introduce advanced electronic payment, safety, and security features in an integrated solution for Egypt’s new smart taxi service, starting with the New Administrative Capital and expanding to other cities nationwide.

The MoU was signed at MwaslaTech’s headquarters in Cairo, attended by Yasser Sedky, CEO of MwaslaTech, and Samer Alish, CEO of Streamax Middle East Technology.

The MoU focuses on joint efforts to provide a digital meter connected to the vehicle and a control center for electronic fare calculation and receipt printing, enhancing financial inclusion and transparency in the taxi system, as well as deploying AI-powered camera surveillance technologies to protect drivers and passengers, ensuring a safe service.

The agreement builds on the recently announced collaboration between Hala UAE and MwaslaTech, which will offer an integrated taxi meter allowing trip booking through mobile applications or street hailing without prior booking. Additionally, it will provide a safe travel experience for passengers according to international standards, transforming daily commuting for millions of Egyptians and tourists.
