CFA Society Egypt Explores Collaboration with Ministry of Investment to Promote Sustainability and Governance

Ahmed Abou El-Saad, Chair of CFA Society Egypt, and  Ashraf El Khatib, Vice Chair of CFA Society Egypt, met with H.E. Hassan El Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, as part of the society’s ongoing efforts to elevate the role of finance and investment professionals in Egypt. The meeting highlighted the activities of CFA Society Egypt and CFA Institute both locally and globally.

Discussions centered on potential collaboration with the Ministry of Investment to support CFA Society Egypt’s mission in developing qualified professionals in the fields of finance and investment. Additionally, the meeting emphasized the importance of encouraging companies operating in Egypt to adopt international standards in sustainability and governance, which contribute to enhanced performance and institutional sustainability. Mr. Abed Mehran from the Ministry’s team was also present.
