The Egyptian Banking Institute (EBI), the training arm of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), has announced the launch of a new mobile application, enhancing the e-learning experience. The app features a library called “Maharat +,” which includes over 100 e-learning courses ranging from technical skills programs in the areas of banking and finance, small and medium enterprises, information technology and personal and leadership skills programs in the areas of human resources, customer service and sales and marketing. The app is designed to be user-friendly, allowing easy access to training courses and marks a significant transformation in the way the institute delivers its services, an impressive result of months of work by the institute’s development and application team.
The app allows users to register for e-learning courses and pay course fees electronically, facilitating learning process at any time and from any location. To provide a comprehensive learning experience, the app also enables users to share their experiences by rating the courses they have completed. Additionally, users are updated with the latest programs, EBI news, and upcoming courses. The effective search engine helps the app users find courses easily matching interests and needs, by categorizing courses for easier exploration.
In this context, Dr. Abdel Aziz Nossier, Executive Director of EBI stated, “The launch of this application is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the training process provided by the institute to trainees, creating a flexible and accessible educational environment and supporting student development. This app allows users to learn at their own pace and convenience, providing them with the tools they need for their career development.” He added, “We believe that learning is the key to individual and community development, and through this application, we aim to offer a flexible and accessible learning experience that empowers trainees to achieve their career goals.”
Dr. Nossier emphasized the importance of integrating technology into the learning process and keeping up with the latest developments in the field, stating, “In the era of digital technology, online learning has become the ideal choice for many individuals seeking to develop their skills. The mobile app embodies our vision of achieving complete integration between traditional education and self-learning, making it easier for learners to access knowledge and information.”
He also confirmed that the institute is committed to continuously improving and developing the app, saying, “Listening to user feedback is one of the main drivers of our development process, ensuring the best learning experience possible.”
The mobile application represents a new step in the institute’s journey to provide outstanding educational services accessible to all, reflecting the EBI’s commitment to offering innovative solutions that meet the aspirations of the new generation of learners, by providing learning tools that enable them to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to keep pace with rapid developments.
