Egyptian Swiss Group for Pasta, Milling and Concentrates is participating in Private Label Middle East 2026, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 3 to 5, with the aim of strengthening its exports to Gulf markets, expanding its private label manufacturing operations, and securing new contracts with importers and international retail chains.

Eng. Ahmed El-Sebaie, General Manager of the group, said Egyptian Swiss is committed to participating in the exhibition annually, as it is one of the most important events specializing in private labels and contract manufacturing. The exhibition brings together leading importers, distributors and procurement executives from retail chains, providing opportunities for direct negotiations on supply and manufacturing contracts targeting regional and international markets.

El-Sebaie explained that the group is focusing its participation on strengthening its presence in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait, which it considers key markets for Egypt’s food industry. It is also exploring opportunities to expand into other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and increase contracts for its pasta, flour, tomato sauce and concentrate products.

He noted that the Gulf region holds strategic importance for the group, given its high purchasing power, advanced retail sector and widespread presence of major retail chains. The region’s reliance on food imports to meet a significant portion of its consumer needs also creates opportunities to increase exports of Egyptian products.

El-Sebaie added that the UAE is particularly important as a regional hub for trade and re-exports, enabling the group to reach importers and distributors operating across multiple markets. Meanwhile, the company aims to increase its market share in Saudi Arabia, capitalizing on the country’s large consumer market and extensive distribution networks.

He emphasized that the exhibition presents an opportunity to expand the group’s private label manufacturing business through partnerships with retail chains and trading companies seeking to market food products under their own brands. He pointed out that the group’s diversified industrial operations enable it to meet customers’ requirements in terms of product specifications, packaging sizes and order volumes.

El-Sebaie revealed that the group successfully entered 13 new export markets in 2026, bringing the total number of countries receiving its products to more than 60 across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas, as part of its strategy to diversify export destinations and increase export volumes.

He explained that the group aims to enter additional markets in Asia and Latin America in the coming period, while exploring opportunities to expand into the Chinese market. At the same time, it plans to increase exports to African and European markets where it already maintains an established commercial presence.

El-Sebaie noted that approximately 80% of Egyptian Swiss’s production is directed to international markets, while the group accounts for around 10% of Egypt’s total pasta exports and 15% of its flour exports, making export expansion a central pillar of its investment and production strategies.

He explained that the group has contracted for a new pasta production line involving additional investment, alongside studying the possibility of adding new milling lines to meet growing demand from international markets.

El-Sebaie also highlighted that the group, established in 1995, operates an integrated industrial base encompassing grain trading, milling, pasta production, tomato sauce and concentrates. It aims to leverage these capabilities to expand its private label manufacturing operations and increase the range of products destined for export.
