Emirates appoints new Country Manager for Egypt

Emirates has appointed Abdullah Al Zamani as its new Country Manager for Egypt.

Mr. Al Zamani’s appointment comes into effect on 1 November, and he will oversee Emirates’ overall business in Egypt, including sales and service functions for the airline’s passenger, cargo, management, and airport operations.

Mr. Al Zamani served as Manager in Indonesia and will now take over from Mr. Ibrahim Ghanim. He has been with Emirates since 2008 serving in several management capacities over 14 years.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Al Zamani said: “Emirates is an iconic brand that consistently delivers innovative products and services, making travel more convenient and enjoyable for its customers in Egypt and across the globe. I look forward to working with our local team to ensure Emirates’ growth and continued success in the market”.

Emirates has announced new appointments to its commercial team in the Middle East, Far East, West Asia, and Europe to support the airline’s efforts in rebuilding its global network amidst the increase in travel demand and the easing of restrictions.

Through the commercial outstation programme, UAE nationals are able to gain broader exposure and expand their network connections. The programme grooms Emiratis to become accomplished leaders and is underpinned by role rotations that provide them the opportunity to sharpen their skills.
