With an innate understanding of the crucial impact of corporate citizenship in the development of local communities and in line with Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt’s (ABK-Egypt) Corporate Social Responsibility efforts to support of the health sector in Egypt, the Bank organized a staff visit to Al-Behaira Governorate to take part in a medical convoy for children in cooperation with Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation (IBF). ABK-Egypt staff members volunteered to assist doctors conduct a wide range of medical check-ups, provide healthcare services, and deliver general health awareness sessions to little patients and their families.
This convoy came as part of the signed agreement between ABK-Egypt and IBF to sponsor 10 medical convoys for children in Al-Behaira Governorate dispatched to provide healthcare services, treatment, and medications to 7000 children in underprivileged villages. This year’s agreement follows the Bank’s successful partnerships with the foundation in 2021 and 2022 covering 9000 children in Al-Qalyubia and 4,600 children Al-Sharqiyah governorates.
This staff-led initiative highlights ABK-Egypt’s commitment to making a positive impact in society and improving the lives of individuals and families in need. Meanwhile, the Bank continues to build sustainable partnerships with NGOs focusing on various sectors to pave the way for a better and more prosperous Egypt.
