With an innate understanding of the crucial role of corporate social responsibility in overcoming challenges that face any society, Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait-Egypt (ABK-Egypt) partnered with The Egyptian Food Bank (EFB) to distribute 1000 boxes of food supplied among families in need across Egypt during the Holy month of Ramadan. This partnership comes in support of “Iftar Saa’em” Feeding program organized by The Egyptian Food Bank during Ramadan to serve underprivileged families across Egyptian governorates with 50 million meals throughout the month.
In the spirit of giving, ABK-Egypt’s employees along with their families and little children participated in food packaging in an attempt to bring joy to the hearts of many Egyptian families in greater Cairo and Qalyubia Governorates.
Mr. Khaled El Salawy, CEO & Managing Director of ABK-Egypt, confirmed: “Our partnership with The Egyptian Food Bank comes as part of our ongoing efforts to support Egyptian families and serve the most vulnerable communities.
