In continuation of the fruitful collaboration between Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt), and Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation (IBF) since the beginning of 2021, and in line with ABK-Egypt’s vision to support the health of Egyptian children through spreading hope in underprivileged villages, ABK-Egypt sponsored Four medical convoys in 2022 covering four villages in Al – Sharqia Governorate.
The convoys provided high quality medical care and treatment for almost 4,600 children in the targeted villages in Al – Sharqia (Kafr El-Mahmoudia, Hehia, Gemeizet Bani Amro, Diyarb Negm, Al Namrut, Faqous, and Mansheya Abou Amer, El Husseiniya). The medical campaign also covered research of endemic diseases in the main specialties of pediatrics and provided free medication through IBF mobile clinic and pharmacy manned by IBF pediatrics team and dedicated volunteers. In addition, specialized doctors conducted awareness sessions for almost 3,100 children and their families on public health issues.
It is worth mentioning that ABK-Egypt has been partnering with Ibrahim A. Badran Foundation over the past two years, dispatching a total of 14 medical convoys across Qalyubia and Al-Sharqia Governorates treating over 13,600 children and raising health awareness for almost 11,300 beneficiaries.
For its part, IBF works continuously on providing quality medical care to underprivileged areas that are far from reaching medical services through constructive partnerships with success partners from individuals and large corporates.
Stemming from its belief to being a force for good, ABK-Egypt continues to play an active role in corporate social responsibility through building sustainable partnerships with organizations in different sectors to provide a better life for deprived segments and pave the way for a better and more prosperous Egypt.
