“We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with influential figures in Greece’s cultural scene, which marks a significant step towards expanding our horizons beyond borders. Art D’Égypte is more than just a cultural platform; it is a pioneering entity that intertwines different sectors of the art world together. Fostering and promoting new collaborations across the global creative industry is at the core of the Culturvator/Art D’Egypte model, with the aim to create new connections and immersive cultural experiences for a global audience on an international scale. In line with these efforts, we recently founded Culturvator, which has been taking the cultural landscape across the region and the world by storm, leading the way towards a cultural renaissance,” Stated Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, Founder of Art D’Égypte,
“Last December 2022, we acted as the main consultant for DIOR here in Egypt. Through our work, we paid homage to the legacy of Ancient Egypt and allowed others to a unique experience that connects between Egypt’s rich cultural heritage and its vibrant present. Soft power is a real tool to drive nations forward and to create cultural bridges, and this project is a great example. It all started with Artist Gisela Colon unveiling The Lady DIOR Bag at the first edition of Forever Is Now 2021 by Art D’égypte,” added Abdel Ghaffar.
The press conference, held in honor of Greek artist Mr. Costas Varotsos, witnessed declaring Ada Iliopoulou, the cultural activist and journalist, as a Culturvator/Art D’Egypte Ambassador. Iliopoulou is the international features editor for Instyle Fashion magazine, and who has received multiple awards throughout her illustrious career in the press and for her contributions to Greece. For 15 years, she served as the Editor- in-Chief of three renowned Greek magazines including 01, Out of limits and Greece Exodos, one of the most popular city guides of Athens, for which she became Publisher.
Thanks to Abdel Ghaffar’s efforts, Art D’Égypte received the UNESCO patronage in 2019, as their mission aligns with the convention of “protection and promotion of the diversity of cultural expression”. In addition, Art D’Egypte was invited to the Abu Dhabi Art Fair in 2019 and ArtGenève in 2020.
Culturvator/Art D’Egypte strongly believes in the importance of mentoring and empowering young women in the region. As one of the core objectives of the firm’s activities is to support and exhibit female artists, Abdel Ghaffar serves as an exemplary role model for women everywhere. In recognition of her work, she was invited by UN Women to give a talk at Palais des Nations, Genève about Egyptian women and their impact on art and society in 2020.
