EGYPTAIR congratulates Star Alliance on the occasion of its 25th anniversary
Capt.Amr Abu El-Enein, Chairman and CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding Company congratulated Star Alliance management on the occasion of its 25th anniversary (Founded on May 14 ,1997)
“We are delighted that we are A Star Alliance Member since 2008 as we have become the member No. 21 in the Alliance family that currently includes 26 international airlines that reach 1300 points in 193 countries around the world. Being a member in the Alliance provides many services and benefits to EGYPTAIR customers around the world” said Abu El-Enein.
“We jointly adopt environmental sustainability statement with the member carriers as well as to define the future vision and to improve joint passenger services between the member carriers , in order to achieve a positive impact on the passenger’s travel experience through the direct interaction between the passenger and the airline using digital strategies,” added Abu Al-Enein .
“We reflect on the successes of Star Alliance in uniting the leading global airlines, with an eye firmly focused on a future where the customer continues to be at the heart of our work and our global network,” said Jeffrey Goh, CEO of Star Alliance.
“I am very excited for .. the innovations led by Star Alliance and our members carriers as we aim to be the most digitally advanced airline alliance offering seamless travel experiences with a unique loyalty proposition”added Jeffrey Goh.

On that basis, the Alliance has repeatedly won several “Best Airline Alliance” awards including the notable World Travel Awards, Skytrax World Airline Awards and Air Transport Awards which have recognised its positive contribution to the future of air travel.
