Honor of Kings, the most played multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game in the world, announced today the launch of the “Honor of Kings in University” initiative in top universities across the country. The 8-week esports university initiative will feature esports tournaments, on-ground activations including Honor of Kings booths at participating universities, on-site visits from star esports players sharing their career journeys and competition giveaways.
The initiative will kick off in October 30th, in Cairo University and will run until the grand final tournament on December 20th at Misr University for Science & Technology, with a prize pool of $5,000 up for grabs. The tournament will be open to students from 12 participating universities across Egypt.
