IWG Expands in Egypt to meet growing demand for hybrid working

With occupancy in IWG’s Cairo offices reaching record levels at over 92%, the world leader in flexible work and coworking spaces is expanding their presence in Egypt by opening 3 new locations around Cairo to meet the increasing demand for hybrid work as companies of all sizes embrace this model of working.

The last two and half years has revolutionized the way in which millions work. The pandemic fueled the mass adoption of hybrid working, with employees having greater flexibility over where and when they work. IWG is continuing to stay ahead of the curve by rapidly increasing the size of its network.

State of the Art Buildings

The new offices have been built to the highest standards, designed to meet the needs of both employee and employer.  Located on 90th North Street, the flexspace not only offers great accessibility but a high-end restaurant situated on “Spaces The Nox”. This flagship location is one of the biggest IWG has opened to date. The certified building which houses the space features 111 offices, 4 meeting rooms, and a cutting edge design.

Efficient and Accessible Workspaces

IWG has chosen the Regus Paramount Business Complex in the Sheraton Heliopolis building as demand continues to grow in the area. Comprising 1130 sqm, 2 meeting rooms and 50 offices, the space allows them to enjoy working with close access to the airport and shopping malls. Pre-opening demand has been phenomenal and the centre is already completely sold out.

Diverse Amenities Accommodating All Needs

The new Regus, Arabella Plaza in New Cairo will be located in a key shopping mall with a large cinema complex and a wide range of restaurants. This expansion will target 3 key areas in the city to strategically set up workspaces where demand is the highest. The opening of the Regus Paramount Business Complex in Sheraton Heliopolis in Cairo will open in the second half of October, followed by Spaces the Nox and Regus and Arabella Plaza in New Cairo by January next year.

Commenting on IWG’s expansion in Egypt, Mark Dixon, Founder and CEO of IWG said: “

“With demand at record levels and businesses of all sizes committing to a hybrid future every day, Egypt is an important country for growth and the network will continue to expand rapidly. The combination of significant investments being made to the infrastructure and transportation network around the capital and a sizeable and growing young workforce will ensure these trends only accelerate.”
