Juhayna Hosts Swedish Ambassador at Its Dairy Manufacturing Facility

Juhayna Food Industries hosted H.E. Dag Juhlin-Dannfelt, Ambassador of Sweden to Egypt, on an official visit to its state-of-the-art dairy manufacturing facility, highlighting the company’s continued investment in advanced production technologies and its integrated approach to strengthening Egypt’s dairy and animal production sectors.

The visit was led by Seif Thabet, Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chairman of Juhayna, alongside members of the senior management team. During the tour, the Ambassador visited Juhayna’s fully automated production lines and quality-control laboratories, gaining firsthand insight into the company’s world-class manufacturing standards, operational efficiency, and end-to-end dairy value chain, supported by cutting-edge processing and packaging technologies, including advanced Swedish solutions delivered through Tetra Pak.

During the visit, Juhayna outlined its long-term growth strategy, built on vertical integration across agriculture, animal production, and industrial manufacturing. This strategy leverages advanced farm management systems, automated milking technologies, real-time quality monitoring, and digitally enabled supply-chain controls to ensure efficiency, consistency, and traceability at every stage of the value chain.

As part of this approach, Juhayna operates a large-scale dairy and livestock operation in Bahareya spanning 2,800 feddans with approximately 8,000 dairy cows, complemented by 140 external dairy sourcing farms under the Kafa’a Network applying standardized technology and quality protocols. These investments support the expansion of its production lines and the integration of raw milk sourcing with advanced processing, enabling Juhayna to meet growing local demand and support exports, with capital expenditures of approximately EGP 2.2 billion and export sales of approximately EGP 1.9 billion in 9M 2025.
