Under the patronage of several Egyptian ministries responsible for industry, investment, and the environment, the first edition of the “Egypt Car Award” will be launched on June 25, 2025. This landmark event, the largest of its kind in Egypt, aims to honor the most prominent companies, brands, and individuals who have contributed to the development of the automotive, bus, and transportation sectors, as well as recognize the top service centers and distributors across the country.
The event comes at a time when the Egyptian automotive market is witnessing significant growth in investment and a strong push towards the localization of vehicle manufacturing, backed by continuous government support to create a stimulating environment that empowers companies to offer products that balance quality and affordability — with the ultimate goal of exporting to surrounding regional and international markets.
“Egypt Car Award” is the first Egyptian awards platform based on accurate, official data. The rankings and awards rely on the Insurance Pool Report issued by the prestigious Al-Ahram Institution, which provides monthly data on vehicle licensing across all categories in Egypt, adding a level of credibility and transparency rarely seen in industry award programs.
In addition to recognizing excellence in vehicle manufacturing, the event will feature awards for various service sectors linked to the automotive industry. It will also include the “Historical Excellence Awards”, determined by a public vote on the Automobile Magazine website. These awards are based on evaluations of vehicle quality, customer satisfaction, availability of spare parts, and after-sales services.
Mohamed Ali Hassan, Chairman of the Automobile Magazine and website organizing the event, confirmed that this prestigious celebration will bring together over 500 distinguished attendees, including ministers, members of parliament, political party leaders, top automotive business figures, and renowned sports and media personalities. The event will also receive extensive media coverage from national television channels and specialized automotive platforms.
He added that the event will consist of three main segments, in addition to several special awards and honorary recognitions for notable individuals, with a key focus on discussing the strategic objective of localizing the automotive industry. He emphasized that this year marks a significant step towards internationalizing the event, positioning Egypt’s automotive market as a center of global attention, given its status as one of the fastest-growing and most investment-attractive markets in the region.
