Al Fajr Medical Company participated in the World Health and Population Conference Exhibition in cooperation with the National Company for General Contracting and Supplies, with the aim of showcasing its latest products and services that contribute to the development of the health sector in Egypt.
The company stressed its keenness to support the Egyptian health system through the local manufacturing of some necessary devices and equipment locally with the highest quality, which contributes to providing the necessary medical needs and reducing dependence on imports.
Engineer Walid Ragab, CEO of Al Fajr Medical Company, said: “Our participation in this exhibition and conference comes from our belief in the importance of the role of the private sector in supporting government efforts aimed at improving health care for citizens.
He continued: We are proud of our contribution to the development of the Egyptian health sector by providing the best medical devices.”
Ragab added: “We are working to localize the manufacture of a number of medical equipment and devices in Egypt, relying on research and development, as well as cooperation with the Federation of Egyptian Industries to produce some spare parts locally instead of importing them, in addition to training and qualifying human cadres, and cooperating with universities and research institutions.
He said: We are confident that local manufacturing will contribute to reducing costs and providing new job opportunities for young people.”
Ragab explained that Al Fajr Medical reviewed during the conference and the accompanying exhibition its latest products that help provide better healthcare to patients, including “medical gas networks”, “control boxes”, “patient head service unit”, “medical bed”, “volume meter”, “suction regulator” and other products.
Ragab stressed his company’s keenness to deepen the local industry by increasing the local component and providing the necessary spare parts and maintenance for medical devices, which contributes to reducing costs and increasing the efficiency of services.
He explained that the company is working hard to develop its products and technologies to meet the needs of the local market, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
At the same time, Ragab stressed the importance of the efforts made by the political leadership and the Egyptian government to improve healthcare for citizens, by investing in health infrastructure, providing medicines and medical supplies at reasonable prices, and encouraging medical industries.
He praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Health in developing the health sector and improving the services provided to citizens.
Ragab also stressed the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors to achieve this goal, noting that the partnership with the Ministry of Health contributes to providing a stimulating environment for investment and innovation in the field of health care.
