MCDR welcomes the leaders of the stock exchanges of Egypt and Oman
Strengthening the cooperation between the stock exchanges in the Arab countries, Khaled Rashed, Managing Director of Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry (MCDR), welcomed Rami El-Dokany, Chairperson of the Egyptian Exchange, accompanied by a delegation from Muscat Securities Market.
Attendees were Mohamed Al Arady, Chairperson of the Muscat Securities Market; Haitham Al Salmi, CEO; Mathla Al Shaqsi, Member of the Board of Directors of Muscat Securities Market, and Nedal Al Hamid, Head of the Risk and Compliance Department in Muscat Securities Market.
The meeting addressed suggested means of cooperation between the financial markets in Egypt and Oman, the mechanisms to enhance the collaboration, and increased investments between the two exchange markets.
During the meeting, MCDR held a presentation regarding the systems followed in the company and new policies adopted in collaboration with the Egyptian Exchange and under the auspices of the Financial Regulatory Authority.
