In a move that underscores its leadership in integrated real estate management and operations consultancy, MRB Holding has announced the signing of a strategic partnership agreement with NEXT Developments, under which MRB will assume full responsibility for the leasing, management, and operation of the District 9 commercial project in 6th of October City.

This collaboration reflects MRB’s vision to expand its investment portfolio and strengthen its presence in the Egyptian real estate market through partnerships with forward-thinking developers like NEXT Developments.

MRB has been involved in the project since its early stages, conducting comprehensive market research that included consumer behavior analysis, competitor benchmarking, and precise target audience identification. These insights contributed to shaping the project’s architectural design to align with market demands and customer expectations. MRB also developed the activity distribution strategy within the project to ensure a fully integrated retail and leisure experience that meets global standards.

Eng. Mohamed Rashed, CEO of MRB Holding, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering innovative and intelligent operational models, stating:“District 9 combines a strategic location with smart design, making it a model for our vision of creating modern, sustainable commercial destinations. We strive to craft integrated experiences that add value for both developers and end-users.”

He added:“At MRB, we are committed to forming strategic partnerships, and we are confident that District 9 will become a landmark among West Cairo’s commercial projects. We have already commenced the leasing phase following the signing of the final agreement with NEXT Developments as our official project partner.”

District 9 spans a total area of 91,519 square meters, divided into six main zones (A, B, C, D, E, F), and features modern paddle and squash courts. Strategically located just minutes away from the Giza Pyramids, the project benefits from direct access to surrounding residential communities, entertainment hubs, and transportation networks—making it an ideal destination for commercial activity.

The project delivers a unique experience aligned with next-generation mall concepts. MRB has created an integrated environment that blends smart services, state-of-the-art facilities, and leisure areas to meet the needs of both visitors and brands.

The signing of the final agreement with MRB marks the official launch of the leasing and operational phase, signaling the successful culmination of detailed feasibility studies that aligned the project’s components with efficient operational requirements.
