Nestlé Egypt Partners with Sonaa’ El Kheir Foundation and Al Manfaz Initiative to Provide 40,000 Iftar Meals and Ramadan Food Boxes

Nestlé Egypt has partnered with Sonaa’ El Kheir Foundation for Development and Al Manfaz Initiative, under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, to create a meaningful impact across various segments of Egyptian society during the holy month of Ramadan. Through this partnership, Nestlé aims to provide 40,000 daily Iftar meals to irregular laborers in multiple governorates, individuals who continue working away from home during Iftar to meet the demands of their jobs.
Driven by a commitment to be a force for good, this collaboration is centered on standing beside those who need support the most. By offering daily Iftar meals, the initiative helps meet essential nutritional needs while alleviating some of the daily pressures faced by families and individuals during Ramadan. In parallel, Ramadan food boxes are being distributed to eligible families through transparent, well organized mechanisms, ensuring that support reaches rightful beneficiaries with fairness, dignity, and compassion.
Adding a heartfelt human touch, Nestlé Egypt employees and Board Members will actively participate in packaging the Ramadan boxes. With the knowledge that each box carries hope to a family somewhere across Egypt, employees are inspired by the belief that even the smallest acts of giving can create meaningful change. Each Ramadan box contains a selection of essential goods, offering families comprehensive support throughout the holy month.

The Chairman and Managing Director of Nestlé Egypt also emphasized the vital role that civil society institutions such as the Sonaa El-Kheir Foundation and the El Manfaz Initiative, play in strengthening communities and driving sustainable development. He noted that partnering with these respected organizations reflects Nestlé’s deep dedication to collective action and to creating meaningful, lasting impact in the lives of those who need it most.
