The Prime Minister of Iraq meets with the Emirati legal figure Habib Al Mulla and announces the establishment of an office in Baghdad

In line with the Iraqi government’s directions towards opening up to the Arab region and its interest in encouraging economic cooperation between Iraq and the Arab countries, as well as its efforts to attract and draw foreign investments; the Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, received Dr. Habib Al Mulla, a distinguished legal figure from the United Arab Emirates, on the occasion of his visit to Iraq.

During their meeting,the President and the guests discussed facilitating procedures that would encourage Emirati and Gulf companies and banks to invest in Iraq. This comes within the Iraqi government’s vision to develop various service and economic aspects in the country.

The Iraqi Prime Minister welcomed Al Mulla’s decision, who serves as the CEO and founder of “Habib Al Mulla and Partners,” to establish a new office for the legal group in the Iraqi capital, which aims to expand its presence in the region and the world. This move is expected to boost confidence in the legal consulting sector in Iraq’s diverse market.

Al Mulla expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Iraqi Prime Minister for his role in bringing his country closer to the Gulf Arab states, at both government and people levels, and for his contribution in facilitating procedures for investors, assisting them, and providing continuous support.

It is worth mentioning that this step enhances Iraq’s capabilities to attract more companies and foreign investments, due to the promising opportunities in various economic sectors the country offers. It reflects Baghdad’s desire to open up to its Arab and Gulf neighbours and highlights the increasing desire among major companies from various sectors to seize these opportunities and invest in Iraq. The office of “Habib Al Mulla and Partners” is one of the largest legal offices in the UAE and the Gulf states.
