In line with Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt’s active role in empowering youth and supporting the education sector in Egypt, Zewail City of Science and Technology recently recognized Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt) for the support extended to undergraduate students joining from public schools during the annual graduation ceremony for class 2024 held in the university campus, in the presence of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, Eng. Adel El Nagar Governor of Giza, Dr. Mahmoud Abd-Rabbou, Acting Executive President of Zewail City, Mrs. Ghada Tawfik, Advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Bank representatives, alongside senior members of sponsoring organizations and university faculty members.
This recognition comes within the framework of the Scholarship Fund agreement signed between ABK-Egypt & Zewail City for Science & Technology, sponsoring the tuition fees of exceptional students from public schools who were eager to attain their bachelor’s degrees in the fields of Science and Engineering. This agreement is part of the Bank’s ongoing contributions to enhance scientific research and industrial development.
