Chairman of the General Authority for Free Zones and Investment (GAFI) Mohamed Abdel Wahab, and Romanian Deputy Economy, Tourism and Entrepreneurship Minister Daniela Nicolescu agreed to hold an Egyptian-Romanian Business Forum in January inviting big Romanian companies interested in investing in Egypt.
That agreement came during their meeting on Sunday as Abdel Wahab underscored to Nicolescu and the accompanying delegation that Egypt is interested to attract Romanian investments in the sectors of petroleum, infrastructure, and textiles.
GAFI chairman added that Egypt has set mechanisms to present investment opportunities to the Romanian business community. He also displayed the measures taken to facilitate the business environment in Egypt.
Further, Abdel Wahab highlighted Egypt’s eagerness to learn more about investment opportunities in Romania welcoming potential steps aimed at achieving that goal.
