The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) is holding a workshop on the protection of intellectual property rights (IPRs), targeting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and software companies. The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Digital Economy and Technology General Division (DETGD) of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC), on March 2, at the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Assiut and online.
The aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of the protection of IPRs and address the legal issues that small businesses face and product investment. The workshop will discuss methods of protecting, registering, evaluating and managing IPRs; law enforcement; and tracking IPR infringers. In addition, it will explain the role of the IPR Office at ITIDA.
