ACI 71st board meeting kicks off in Cairo

ACI Africa board meetings,  the meetings of the CEOs and Business Partners Forum began today in Cairo. The meetings were attended by prominent aviation sector specialists in Africa, to discuss the role of airports in economic development, the future of air transport, and cooperation with regional stakeholders to improve the aviation system both regionally and internationally, emphasizing the importance of sustainability and environmental preservation. The Chairman and CEOof the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation affirmed Egypt’s significant role in ACI Africa, especially with Egypt being chosen as Africa’s representative in the ACI World through the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation.   “Hosting the conference in Cairo this year represents a great opportunity for exchanging insights and ideas, especially with the air traffic restoring its normal rates after the COVID-19 pandemic” Eng.Mahrous added.
