Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait  Egypt (ABK-Egypt) continues its support for the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) nationwide initiative celebrating International Womens Day and promoting financial literacy among unbanked segments. During the month of March, the Bank launched a campaign in partnership with Al Orman Association to raise awareness on financial inclusion and digital transformation among women in Sumusta city, Beni Suef governorate.

ABK-Egypt organized a Financial Literacy seminar hosting over 150 women from various backgrounds: housewives, employees, students, industrial workers, and entrepreneurs raising awareness on the importance of saving, financial planning, and resources management. The sessions also covered the various benefits and features of banking products and services that can support these women in their daily lives and in achieving economic independence.

During the campaign period that extended to end of March 2023, the Bank offered a range of exclusive benefits that included free of charge account opening, free Debit Card issuance, free Mobile Wallet registration and free accidental insurance policy.

ABK-Egypt remains dedicated to delivering on its Simpler Banking promise and reaching out to all segments of society through taking part in national initiatives initiated by the Central Bank of Egypt to engage and integrate the unbanked population and drive the growth of the Egyptian economy.
