Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK – Egypt) participated in the “International Youth Day” under the auspices of Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), through its presence in “Matrix club” in Tanta governorate and “Suez sporting club” in Suez governorate.
Stemming from the Bank’s belief in the importance of achieving financial inclusion and raising awareness on the importance of financial literacy among youth, ABK-Egypt is keen to provide a wide range of financial services and innovative products with exclusive benefits during the period of the initiative. These offers include free of charge account opening, free Debit Card issuance, free Mobile Wallet registration and free accidental insurance policy.
ABK-Egypt’s representatives were able to successfully engage with youth through their presence in both cities in an attempt to increase awareness on banking products.
In the same context, ABK-Egypt launched a set of new accounts for different customer segments including two “Bedaya” accounts; for individuals and very small companies with simplified procedures, “Sohoula” account for individuals and “Future” account for youth between 16 and 21 years requiring only their national ID. All four accounts provide exclusive benefits and are opened with zero account opening fees, no minimum balance fees, free debit card issuance and free access to online and mobile banking services, which appeals to unbanked segments and allows the Bank to attract new customers.
