Gama Construction signs contract with German BSH Home Appliances Group to construct Factory

Gama Construction, the leading design-build construction company, recently inked the contract agreement with BSH Home Appliances Group, Europe’s leading home appliances manufacturer, to carry out the group’s first production facility in Egypt and the African continent. The ceremony was attended by both companies’ top executives.

The BSH production plant is located on the 10th of Ramadan City east of Cairo with a total land area of approximately 160,000 square meters. The facility is expected to provide numerous direct and indirect job opportunities for the manufacturing of Egyptian-made cookers using German technology.

Ghobrial added: “Over the years, Gama delivered different manufacturing facilities, this enabled us to provide tailored solutions to meet client-specific requirements. At the moment, we are executing the largest textile factory in the world in El Mahallah City, in addition to Helwan Dyeing and Textile Factories, and the City of Vaccines and Biotechnology. Also, we delivered turnkey production plants to some of the world’s leading manufacturers”.

Mr. Mourad Gendy – Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board Member of BSH Egypt, confirmed: “We are pleased to have Gama at our side to realize this important and forward-looking project. We collaborate with Gama Construction because they have great experience in large projects and provide excellent quality and international standards. The production plant is designed according to the latest sustainability standards and is targeted to reach carbon-neutral operations. The start of production in the factory is planned for the end of 2024 with a capacity of 350,000 units per year.”
