Mondelēz Egypt Partners with Misr El Kheir Foundation to Support Children’s Educational Journey in Upper Egypt

Mondelēz Egypt, a leading manufacturer of snacks and confectionery, has announced its partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation to prepare and distribute school bags to children in the most underserved communities across Fayoum, Beni Suef, and Minya Governorates. The initiative aims to help meet children’s basic school supply needs and support them at the beginning of the academic year.

The initiative is part of Mondelēz Egypt’s efforts to support local communities and create a sustainable social impact through partnerships with civil society organizations. As part of this collaboration, the company’s employees will participate in preparing the school bags, while Misr El Kheir Foundation will oversee their distribution to eligible children, ensuring that support reaches the intended beneficiaries.

This initiative builds on the company’s ongoing efforts to support local communities, including participating in packing and distributing food boxes during Ramadan 2026, as well as supporting breast cancer awareness initiatives. These efforts reflect the company’s commitment to addressing community needs through diverse initiatives in collaboration with specialized partners, helping direct support towards areas of greatest need.

Mondelēz Egypt employees’ participation in preparing the school bags also falls under Purpose Month, the annual occasion during which Mondelēz International celebrates its founding anniversary through activities and initiatives involving employees around the world. This year’s theme, “Change the Game for Every Child,” underscores the importance of contributing to positive change within local communities.
