Orange Egypt Partners with Ministry of Social Solidarity on “Start 2026” to Launch Egypt’s Largest Youth Empowerment Platform

Orange Egypt announced a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Social Solidarity to launch Start Hub, the largest national initiative dedicated to empowering university students and recent graduates and equipping them to build successful career paths. The partnership underscores the company’s continued commitment to supporting the Egyptian government’s efforts to invest in human capital, empower young people, and enhance their preparedness for the labor market.

The event witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Orange Egypt, attended by Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity; Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; and Hesham Mahran, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Orange Egypt. The agreement underscores the strength of collaboration between the public and private sectors in empowering young people and preparing them for the jobs of the future.

The partnership further reinforces Orange Egypt’s role as a development partner supporting the government’s efforts to cultivate a new generation of talent equipped to keep pace with digital transformation and the evolving requirements of the modern economy. It also aligns with the objectives of Egypt Vision 2030, which seeks to foster a knowledge-based economy while promoting inclusion and sustainability within the labor market.

As part of this collaboration, Orange Egypt is establishing and launching the Start Hub platform, an integrated digital gateway designed to connect young people with the labor market. The platform provides a comprehensive journey encompassing career guidance, skills development, training, and employment opportunities, contributing to the development of a more competitive and future-ready generation.
More than 250 companies and institutions took part in the Start 2026 Forum, alongside thousands of students and graduates representing universities across Egypt. As part of its participation, Orange Egypt offered a variety of employment opportunities and training programs within the company. Through its Orange Digital Center, the company also provided specialized training in artificial intelligence, data analytics, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing, aimed at equipping young people with the skills most in demand in the digital economy and enhancing their preparedness for the jobs of the future.
