MCIT, Amazon Co-organize Training Session within Qodwa-Tech

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and Amazon Egypt have co-organized a session titled “Build your virtual store on Amazon.” The session is part of the e-commerce training program organized within the framework of Qodwa-Tech initiative to empower women entrepreneurs and craftswomen to enter the e-commerce market.

The session highlighted the advantages of online shopping, the benefits that Amazon Egypt platform offers to small business owners and craftswomen, the facilities in creating an Amazon seller account, and how to easily reach millions of customers without a website. In addition, the session discussed how sellers can increase the chances of their products appearing in relevant search results, boost product sales, get discovered by shoppers, drive more traffic to their product pages, and take advantage of the available analysis tools (insights and metrics) to grow their business and stay successful.

MCIT collaborates with local and international partners to deliver in-depth sessions within the e-commerce training program, helping craftswomen gain a competitive edge in the e-commerce market and adapt in a changing digital world.
